Kors tal-Woodcarving
Is-Socjeta' Maltija tal-Arti, Manifattura u Kummerc se terga' torganizza Kors tal-Woodcarving ghall-Beginneres. L-iskop tal-Kors huwa biex jaghti l-opportunita' lill-istudenti jimbarkaw fuq progetti taghhom stess bl-ghajnuna tal-ghalliem li se jmexxi l-Kors. It-taghlim li se jinghata huwa Low Relief u Simple Carving in the Round. Il-Kors jinkludi wkoll taghlim dwar kif taghraf diversi tipi ta' injam, is-selezzjoni taghhom u l-iskultura. Ikun hemm ukoll taghlim dwar kif wiehed jaghzel ghodod differenti.

ll-Kors ser jinzamm kull nhar ta' Sibt filghodu (saghtejn) bejn Ottubru u Dicembru ghal 10 gimghat konsekuttivi. Il-Kors kollu jiswa 21 ewro. L-ghodda trid tigi provduta mill-istudenti jew mis-Socjeta'.

Course in Woodcarving
The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce will again be organising a 'Beginners Course in Wood Carving'. The aim and objectives of the Course is to enable students to embark on their own woodcarving projects with a helping hand from the tutor. Tuition will be given in Low Relief and Simple Carving in the Round. It will also include learning how to recognize various timbers and their selection and carving properties as well as looking at the different types of tools required.

The Course will be held every Saturday morning and run for 10 sessions of two hours each from October and December. The cost is 21 euros for the whole Course. Tools are to be provided by the student whilst wood can either be provided by the student or by the Society at cost.

'Il-Bini ta' Presepju tal-Milied', huwa kors li se jigi organizzat mis-Socjeta' Maltija tal-Arti, Manifattura u Kummerc bil-koperazzjoni ta' l-Ghaqda Hbieb tal-Presepju (Malta). Il-Kors se jiehu ghaxar (10) sessjonijiet ta' saghtejn -il wahda. Il-Kors se jkun immexxi mis-Sur Charles Bellia, s-Segretarju/PRO ta' l-Ghaqda Hbieb tal-Presepju (Malta). Il-Kors se jibda' nhar is-Sibt, 13 ta' Ottubru, 2007 gewwa Palazzo De La Salle, 219 Triq ir-Repubblika, l-Belt. Il-partecipanti se jitghallmu dwar il-Presepju f'Malta, kif tibni dawn il-Presepji, l-accessorji li jehtiegu biex tibnihom, dwal, sigar etc, u kif taghmel il-pasturi.

Il-Kors se jkun ta' ghaxar (10) sessjonijiet ta' saghtejn-il wahda u l-hlas huwa ta' 21 ewro ghall-Kors kollu.

Course on Crib Presepju Building
The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce with the collaboration of the Ghaqda Hbieb tal-Presepju (Malta) will be organising a 'Practical Course on Christmas Crib Presepju Building'. The Course will run for ten (10) sessions of 2 hours duration for each session. The Course will be conducted by Mr. Charles Bellia who is the Secretary/PRO of the Ghaqda Hbieb Tal-Presepju (Malta). The Course will start on Saturday 13th October, 2007 at Palazzo De La Salle, 219 Republic Street, Valletta. Participants will learn about the crib in Malta, how to build such cribs, accessories such as buildings, lights, trees, etc and also how to make pasturi. The Course will run for ten (10) sessions and the cost is 21 euros for the whole Course.

Talks on the History of Malta conducted by Vincent
The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce will again be organizing a series of illustrated talks by Vincent Zammit on the History of Malta.

There will be 3 different series of talks that will will cover the period between (1) The Coming of the French, (2) The Uprising and the First Years of British Rule, (3) The British in Malta.

Each series of talks will consist of ten talks of two hours each at the Knights Hall of Palazzo De La Salle, in Valletta and will start in October. The Knights Period Talks will be held every Tuesday, the French Period on Thursday and the British Period every Friday, all between 5.30pm and 7.30pm for 10 consecutive weeks.

The fee is €21 for the whole series (10 talks).
