MUSIC MORNING / EVENING COURSES
|
The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce will be organising the 3rd Term (April-June) Morning / Evening Courses in Music between the second week of April and June, 2008. All the courses will be held at Palazzo De La Salle, 219 Republic Street, Valletta, from Monday to Saturday. The morning sessions are held between 9.00am and 11.00am or noon, and the evening sessions between 4.30pm and 7.30pm. Music courses will take between 45 minutes and 60 minutes each session. Anyone over 6 years of age can apply for these courses. Courses fee is €37.27. .
Courses will be held in the following subjects: Guitar, Pianoforte (Pre-Grade and Grade 1 to 5), Violin and Theory of Music.

ART AND CRAFT MORNING / EVENING COURSES
|
The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce will be organising the 3rd Term (April - June) Morning / Evening Courses in Art and Crafts between the second week of April and June, 2008. All the courses will be held at Palazzo De La Salle, 219 Republic Street, Valletta, from Monday to Saturday. The morning sessions are held between 8.30am and 12.30pm or noon, and the evning sessions between 4.30pm and 7.30pm, once a week. Each course will run over ten sessions of two hours each session, once a week. Anyone over 6 years of age can apply for these courses. Courses fee is €20.96.
Courses will be held in the following subjects:
Art, Art 50+, Parchment Craft, Beading, Cottage Craft, Crochet, Dress Making (Cutting Out), Embroidery, Embroidery in Gold, Filigree, Ganutell, Malta Lace, Mixed Crafts (Candles & Decoupage), Monastery, Needle Handcrafts, Quilling, Tailoring, Knitting, Maltese for Foreigners (Beginners).

Clarinet Lessons
|
The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce will be offering clarinet lessons at Palazzo de La Salle, Valletta. These Clarinet lessons will be offered to students preferably over 7 years of age due to physical limitations at a younger age. Lessons will be tailored to meet the student needs on a one to one basis. Introductory lessons for beginners, together with the preparation of students for Grade examinations (Grade 1 - Grade 5) will be offered. Lessons will be designed to cover the entire spectrum of basic techniques and provide a firm foundation for progress whilst covering a good repertoire of Clarinet music. Students will also be able to perform in groups such as in duos. The cost of each course of 10 lessons at 45/60 minutes each session is €37.27 (Lm16).
