Influenza Vaccine
|
The Balzan Local Council would like to inform Balzan residents over the age of 55 years that the influenza vaccine will be administered at the Balzan Clinic at a date and time that will be advertised later, for the convenience of residents.
Those persons entitled to the vaccine should register their details with the local council during office hours, Monday - Friday between 8.30am and 12.00pm (noon).
The vaccine will be provided free of charge.

Il-Kunsill Lokali Balzan jixtieq jinforma lir-residenti ta' Ħal Balzan li għandhom eta' 'l fuq minn 55 sena, illi għal konvenjenza tar-residenti, l-vaċċin ta' l-influenza se jiġi mgħoti mill-Berġa ta' Ħal Balzan, f'data u ħin li jiġi reklamat aktar il-quddiem.
Dak il-persuni intitulati għal-vaċċin iridu jirreġistraw id-dettalji tagħhom mal-kunsill lokali fil-ħinijiet ta' l-uffiċċju, mit-Tnejn sal-Ġimgħa, bejn it-8.30am u 12.00pm (nofsinhar).
Il-vaċċin se jingħata mingħajr ħlas.

Collection of Household and Commercial waste
|
Lija and Balzan Local Councils notify that:-
Sealed tenders will be received at the Lija Local Council Office, Triq Robert Mifsud Bonnici, Lija by not later than 10.30a.m. on Friday,13th October, 2006, for:-
Collection of Household and Commercial waste in Balzan and Lija for a period o one year commencing on the 1st November 2006.
Tender documents together with the relative conditions, may be obtained against a fee of Lm25 from either of the Councils' offices and may also be inspected for free during office hours as from Monday, 18th September 2006.
Tenders should be made on the prescribed forms and will be opened in public at the closing date and time at the Lija Local Council Office, Triq Robert Mifsud Bonnici, Lija.
The Councils reserve the right to refuse any tender, even the most advantageous offer. For further enquires please phone: 21442323 or 21416111.

Tender re Solar Energy Lighting for Playing Field
|
Tenders are being requested for The Installation of Solar Lighting at the Balzan Playing Field - S.L. 1/06.
Detailed specifications, copies of which may be obtained on the payment of Lm10, may be inspected during normal office hours free of charge from Tuesday, 23rd May 2006.
Sealed tenders may be deposited only between 9.00am and 12.00pm (noon) during office hours in the tender box at the Council office by not later than 11.00am, on Friday, 9th June 2006. Tenders will be opened in public on the closing date at 11.00am.
The Council reserves the right to refuse even the most advantageous offer.
