Course on Portrait and Figure Painting & Drawing
|
The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce will again be organizing a course on Portrait and Figure painting and drawing under the professional guidance of well-known artist Eman Grima. The course will be held every Thursday between 5.30pm and 7.30pm. The course will run over nine sessions of two hours each at Palazzo de La Salle, Valletta and will start in January. Participation is restricted to a limited number of artists and as the course has been consistently full participants are urged to book early. If the response is satisfactory another course will be organized every Wednesday and also Tuesday on the same basis. The participation fee for all nine sessions is €70.

Voice Studies Course from January
|
After the successful introduction of the Voice Studies course, the Malta Society of Arts Manufactures and Commerce will be organizing the same course during the winter. The course starts in January and end in mid-March and consists of 10 sessions, once a week at a fixed individual time. Soprano Rosabelle Bianchi will be conducting the course at Palazzo de La Salle, Valletta. The fee for the whole course is €50 and anyone can apply, those wishing to learn the classical, choral and even pop singing.

Card Making, Ribbon Work and Huck Weaving Courses

The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce will be organizing the Card Making, Ribbon Work and the Huck Weaving craft courses from January. The three courses include 10 lessons of two hours each, once a week between 9am and 11am. These will be held at Palazzo de La Salle, Republic Street, Valletta. If enough students are interested to take the course during the evening hours the Society will consider the possibility to organize them also. Applications are now open and anyone interested may call at the Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, Palazzo de La Salle, 219 Republic Street, Valletta or by calling on telephone numbers 21244339 – 21244400 Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 1.00pm.
