Tickets for Balzan Day Concert

The St. Gabriel Band Club together with the Balzan Local Council are pleased to invite you to a concert to commemorate Balzan Day at Aurora Hall on Saturday, 2nd April 2005 at 7.30pm.
Those who wish to attend may pick up your tickets (free of charge), allocated on a first come first served basis, from the Balzan Local Council during normal office hours or from St. Gabriel Band Club.
The concert is being organized by the St. Gabriel Band Club with the collaboration of the Balzan Local Council.

Rumble Strips
|
|
The Balzan Local Council decided to install another two sets of rumble strips to slow down traffic driving along Old Railway Road between St. Francis Street and Karenza Street. The necessary permit is being requested from the Malta Transport Authority. As soon as the permit is acquired the work will be ordered.

St. Valentine's Day

Radio Valentine Balzan together with the Education, Social Policy and Youth subcommittee of the Balzan Local Council invite all Balzan residents to the St. Valentine's Day celebrations on the 14th February 2005 at 7.30pm, at Aurora Hall.
A Special Buffet and variety show which includes BENNY and TONIA will highlight the evening. Entrance contribution: Adults Lm3 Children Lm2. For further details call 7948 8365.

The Three Villages - A collective are exhibition
|
A collective art exhibition with the title "The Three Villages" at The Gallery, Corinthia Palace Hotel, De Paule Avenue, Balzan will be open between the 13th and 29th February 2005.
The participating artists come from the Three Villages, Balzan, Lija and Attard. The participants are John Martin Borg, Celia Borg Cardona, Elia Cassar, Millie Burn, Joe Micallef, Anna Miggiani, Therese Storace and James Vella Clark.
The exhibition is being launched in conjuntion with the Balzan Local Council - the Mayor of Balzan, Dr. John Zammit Montebello will be inaugurating the exhibition. Soprano Gillian Zammit will participate on the opening night.
You are most welcome to visit: Monday - Friday between 6.00pm and 8.00pm and during the weekend between 10.00am and 1.00pm and between 6.00pm and 8.00pm.
