The Ministry for Rural Affairs and The Environment has published a book, in Maltese, for consumers of fresh fish.
A copy of the booklet may be picked up, free of charge, from the Local Council office during normal office hours.

|
A CCTV camera has been placed at the bring-in-site of Wesgha Prof. Guze Aquilina to eliminate the dumping of waste next to the bins.
We would like to thank those residents who separate the refuse and use these bins in the appropriate manner.

DISPOSAL OF ASBESTOS ITEMS FROM HOUSEHOLDS

The Bulky Refuse Contractor will collect asbestos items from household once a month - on the last Friday of the month. RESIDENTS ARE NOT TO BREAK UP THE ITEMS TO BE COLLECTED AS ASBESTOS DUST IS A HEALTH HAZARD.

Period Contract for the Supply of Goods / Services - G.S. 1/04 for three years commencing on 1st of September 2004. (includes the supply of construction material, decorative lanterns and floodlights, benches, playing field equipment and safety flooring, litterbins, sanitaryware, carpentery and joinery, metal and aluminium works and hire of building machinery)
Electrical Installation at the Playing Field - E.I. 1/04 commencing on 1st September 2004.
Detailed specifications, copies of which may be obtained on payment of Lm15 and Lm10 respectively, may be inspected during normal office hours free of charge from Monday, 23rd August 2004.
Sealed tenders may be deposited only between 9.00am and 12.00am during office hours in the tender box at the Council office by not later than 11.00am on Friday, 17th September 2004. Tenders will be opened in public on the closing date at 11.00am.
The Council reserves the right to refuse even the most advantageous offer.
