Il-Ġimgħa tal-Bnadar

F' dan l-istaġun, kull belt u raħal, min għal ġimgħa, u min għal aktar, jilbes il-libsa tal-festa. Partijiet importanti minn din il-libsa sabiħa huma l-bnadar li jittellgħu b’tant għożża fuq il-bjut. Bnadar tal-każini, ta' għaqdiet u tan-nies tal-lokal. Din it-tradizzjoni saret parti intrinsika tal-mod kif niċċelebraw fl-ibliet u l-irħula tagħna. Din hija tradizzjoni sabiħa li mhux biss għandna nindukraw iżda wkoll nagħrfu bħala xi ħaġa unika li għandu pajjiżna.

B’dan il-ħsieb, il-Gvern qed jipproponi li jorganizza “Il-Ġimgħa tal-Bnadar” bħala attività li titfa l-lenti fuq din it-tradizzjoni. Il-Gvern qed jipproponi li matul din il-ġimgħa, l-ibliet u l-irħula kollha ta’ pajjiżna jiżżejnu bil-bnadar. Fi kliem ieħor, din il-ġimgħa hija stedina lil kull min għandu għall-qalbu u jipprattika din it-tradizzjoni sabiex jingħaqad u b’hekk flimkien inlibbsu l-bjut ta’ Malta u Għawdex bil-bnadar.

Il-Kunsilli Lokali kollha, kif ukoll lil Kappillani, kunventi, Każini tal-Baned, każini soċjali, sportivi u politiċi u għadqiet oħrajn tal-lokal huma mħeġġa jipparteċipaw f'din Il-Ġimgħa tal-Bnadar billi kull min għandu arblu fuq id-dar tiegħu biex f’din il-ġimgħa - li qed nipproponu li tkun mit-8 sal-15 ta' Settembru - sabiex iżomm bandiera tperper. Nixtiequ li din l-attivita tkun suċċess ġaladarba jkun hemm parteċipazzjoni attiva mill-individwi u l-għaqdiet. Hemm mnejn, jekk l-attivita tirnexxi, li din isir attivita anwali li fiha niċċelebraw din it-tradizzjoni.

Għalhekk inħeġġeġ lil kulħadd sabiex jgħin biex din l-attivita issir u tkun suċċess. Inħeġġiġkom sabiex mit-8 sal-15 ta' Settembru ttajjru l-bnadar minn fuq il-bini tagħkom u tħajru lil ħaddiehor biex jagħmel hekk ukoll.
