Manga Art for Teens from October
The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce is again running a course 'Manga Art for Teens'. This course is aimed at those teenagers who would like to develop their skills in this Japanese cartoon art form. This course will consist of all the basics on how to draw Manga-style (i.e. facial expressions, eyes, hair, etc) and later how to draw some popular Manga characters. The course will start in October and will consist of two hour sessions, every Saturday between 9.00am and 11.00am, once a week for 10 consecutive weeks.

Cake Decorating Course from October
After a successful introduction of a course on Cake Decorating, the Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce will be organizing another course on the subject from October. The 2-hour session 10 week course, one session a week, consists in making of birthday cakes, sugar flowers and also xmas cakes. The morning course will be held every Monday between 9am and 11am and for those who wish to attend the evening course it will be every Thursday between 5pm and 7pm. Card Making, Ribbon Work and Huck Weaving Courses
The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce will be organizing the Card Making, Ribbon Work and the Huck Weaving craft courses from October. The three courses include 10 lessons of two hours each, once a week between 9am and 11am.

These will be held at Palazzo de La Salle, Republic Street, Valletta. If enough students are interested to take the course during the evening hours the Society will consider the possibility to organize them also. Applications are now open and anyone interested may call at the Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, Palazzo de La Salle, 219 Republic Street, Valletta or by calling on telephone numbers 21244339 – 21244400 Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 1.00pm. Voice Studies Course from October
After the successful introduction of the Voice Studies course, the Malta Society of Arts Manufactures and Commerce will be organizing the same course during the winter. The course starts in October and end in mid-December and consists of 10 sessions, once a week at a fixed individual time. Soprano Rosabelle Bianchi will be conducting the course at Palazzo de La Salle, Valletta. The fee for the whole course is EUR 50 and anyone can apply, those wishing to learn the classical, choral and even pop singing.
